Claim Can App
Helping Canadians find and track the benefits they need!
The Problem
Many Canadians miss out on support they’re eligible for. The current system is hard to navigate, filled with jargon, and scattered across multiple platforms.
The App empowers Canadians to confidently access the benefits they’re eligible for.
It replaces confusion and jargon with clear steps, real-time tracking, and secure support.
The Goal
Why I Designed ClaimCAN
I wanted to create a space that feels like it’s working with people, not against them. ClaimCAN is built for real life. It filters benefits based on need, tracks progress clearly, and stores documents securely.
Design Philosophy
ClaimCAN was built on the belief that navigating government benefits shouldn't feel like decoding a puzzle. My design philosophy centered around clarity, dignity, and empowerment, removing bureaucratic noise and making information feel human. I prioritized plain language, intuitive flow, and strong visual hierarchy so users could focus on what matters: getting the support they need. Good design doesn’t just streamline processes, it builds trust in systems that often feel inaccessible.

What I Learned
The real success of a product isn’t just whether it works — it’s whether people feel empowered using it. ClaimCAN helped me see how product thinking, accessibility, and emotional design come together to create something people genuinely need and trust.
